I’m Bonnie Cathryn (or BC). If we’re going to plan something as meaningful as your time away, it feels right to share a bit about who I am and why I care so much about this work.
I grew up in Memphis, TN in a big family that rarely sat still. We were always going somewhere or gathering people together, and I naturally became the one who kept track of the details. Somewhere between helping organize family trips, coordinating celebrations, and making sure everyone had what they needed, I realized that logistics come naturally to me. I love the puzzle pieces. I love creating order out of ideas. And I love seeing people relax into a moment because every detail has been thought of.
Travel by BC is an extension of that part of me. I care deeply about planning travel with intention and attention to detail, and I never take lightly the trust people place in me with their time. Whether you are celebrating something big or simply needing a break from the pace of life, I want your experience to feel personal, unrushed, and thoughtfully handled.
I have learned that travel has a way of surprising you. A place you have never been can feel instantly familiar, and a small moment can stay with you long after you return home. My hope is that the trips I plan offer that same sense of comfort and ease, wrapped inside something beautiful and well thought out.
These days I call Birmingham, AL home, where you can usually find me sipping coffee with my dog, Hattie, by my side. I am happiest when there is a trip on the calendar, a table to set, or a reason to bring people together. When I am not planning, I am probably on a long walk, laughing on FaceTime with my nieces and nephews, or decompressing with an episode of Law & Order.

First and foremost, working with us does not generally cost you more. We have access to the same hotel rates you see publicly, with the added benefit of amenities like breakfast, resort credits, and potential upgrades when available. These perks come from long-standing relationships and a strong network of partners who take great care of our travelers.
For full itinerary planning, we do charge a planning fee. This is quoted after our intake call and reflects the scope of your trip — where you are going, how many destinations you want to include, and the level of support you need. The fee allows me to put the right time, research, and coordination into creating something that feels personal and well thought out. It also means you have a professional guiding the process from start to finish.
For hotel-only bookings, when you already know your dates and destination, that service is complimentary. I will take care of the reservation and secure any available perks through our partnerships.
When you look at the full picture, the cost of working with us comes down to one planning fee for itinerary design. In return, you receive a trip shaped with care, backed by real expertise, and supported every step of the way so you can get the most value out of your travel investment.

I do not have a strict trip minimum. My services are designed for travelers who prefer four and five star properties and want a thoughtful, well-supported planning experience. During the inquiry process, I will ask about your ideal travel investment so I can help you understand what is realistic for your destinations and dates.
From there, we will talk through whether the trip is the right fit for my services. If it is, we will move forward with a planning fee and begin designing your itinerary.
And if your trip falls outside of what I can best support, I will be upfront about it and always glad to point you in the right direction.

In most cases, yes. If you’ve booked flights or a few hotels but need help pulling everything together, we can often come in and finish the job by building out the structure, filling in the gaps, confirming bookings, and making sure it all flows. We’ll talk through what’s already been done during your intake call and figure out the best way to move forward from there.
